James Troup Day 2, 28/06/10
Today I continued to work on the timeline project. I finalised the text and we worked out the specific boundaries we would use for the eras represented on the timeline. We then worked on the actual layout of the timeline and how the talking tins would be attached to it.

James Day 1/2 24th/ 25th june 2010
On my first day I arrived in the office to a warm welcome. i was shown around and told what my task would be be for the next few days. I have to produce a talking time line, charting the history of the boat for a museum exhibit. The first day I spent researching relevant information online and from books, and then putting it down into writing. This was quite a challenging task as I had to chart all the way from the Palaeolithic to the present day! Today I edited the the paragraphs and trimmed them down so they will be suitable for the voice recording. I have also spent some time working out how the talking tins we will be using work, and how the exhibit will be put together.
