darwin day-9

today i went over to the isle of wight. It was an early start but we got to the UAC in time for a huge school group. me and a collegue re-arranged a cabinet and put the 3 posters that i made and printed intothe cabinet. we then helped out in the museum as i was dressed as an anglo saxon i was in good position to answer any questions the kids had. I then did a short part on a collegues podcast about anglo saxon reenactment kit.

good day been off to get bits printed looking good. ive measued the marine buses poer cable to fit into the spec poster that ive been doing today. finished that just waiting for the all clear.

finished off the phd files and now the posters asre ready to go off to the printers been a brilliant week and ivwe had alot of fun.

today i continued to do my poster on bouldnor cliff i learnt how to turn it into a pdf file so that it can be sent to the printers. just trying to find a cheap quote!!!

today i went over to the isle of wight. we went to the UAC in fort victoria where ui measured the cases that i was going to fit. after that i helped a member of staff with a school group and then went to asses Yarmouth castle with another member of staff.

day 2 Ive been carrying on with the posters that i was working on yesterday. by lunch time i had finished those and i have started to design the background for the Bouldnor cliff cabinet.

Darwin-day 1

my first day, everyone is really freindly and i am enjoying what i have been given to do. My task that i have been given is to create two posters to go in the bottom of a display case in the Isle of Wight museum. One about aurochs and one about giant deer. Getting on well and have finished the one on aurochs. Going well so far.
